So much more style and better quality than anything I saw in the chain furniture stores. What I did find in the chains with comparable quality was at least twice the price of this! Very pleased overall and LOVE the style! This bed is very well-constructed and will last a long time. Like that it is solid hardwood, not the veneer-over-cheap fiberboard stuff in the mass market. Piece of cake to assemble, too!
